Coopers Plains is a suburb in the city of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is located around 12 kilometers south of the city center. Coopers Plains is primarily a residential suburb but it also has a small commercial area along Orange Grove Road and a small industrial area along Beaudesert Road. It has a mix of older and newer houses, units, and townhouses. The suburb is well served by public transport, with multiple bus routes running through the area and a train station providing access to the city. Coopers Plains is also home to a number of parks and sporting fields, as well as a community center and library. The Coopers Plains State School is one of the most known school in this suburb.
