Morayfield is a suburb located in the Moreton Bay Region of Queensland, Australia. It is located approximately 45 kilometers (28 mi) north of the city of Brisbane and is considered a part of the Greater Brisbane metropolitan area. The suburb is primarily residential, with a mix of older and newer houses, and a variety of local amenities. Morayfield is home to a number of parks, such as the Morayfield Recreational Reserve, which offers playgrounds and picnic areas, and the Morayfield Conservation Park, which offers hiking and biking trails. The suburb also has a number of schools and is located near a number of other recreational and natural attractions, such as the Moreton Bay and the Morayfield Shopping Centre, which is a large shopping complex with a wide range of shops, restaurants, and cafes.
