Scarborough is a suburb located in the Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia. It is located approximately 40 kilometers (25 mi) north of the Brisbane central business district. The suburb is situated on the Redcliffe Peninsula and is known for its beach and coastal lifestyle. Scarborough has a number of parks and recreational facilities, including a popular beach, fishing platform and a boat ramp. The suburb also has a variety of small businesses such as cafes, restaurants, and shops. The Scarborough Marina and the Redcliffe Jetty are popular tourist destinations. It also has a number of historical landmarks such as the Scarborough War Memorial.
