Purga is a small rural locality in Queensland, Australia, it is located about 75km southwest of the city of Ipswich and about 130km west of the city of Brisbane. It is situated in the Ipswich region and is primarily an agricultural area. Purga is known for its natural beauty, including the presence of the Purga Nature Reserve and Purga Creek, which are popular spot for hiking, picnicking and fishing.
