Bulwer is a small town located in the North Coast region of Queensland, Australia. It is part of the Cassowary Coast Region local government area, and is situated approximately 45 km south of the city of Cairns. Bulwer was established in the late 1800s as a port for the sugar industry in the area. It has a population of around 400 people. Bulwer provides access to popular tourist destinations such as Daintree Forest, Mossman Gorge and Cape Tribulation. The town also have a school, post office, community hall and some basic shops.
